Umm...hi. My name is Luke, and I'm the maker of the Brilliant Forest. I just finished recording my LP, and you can hear a few songs on my myspace page. The genre is ambient/electronic/folk/indie. People have described it as sounding like Xiu Xiu, the Microphones, and Depreche Mode. I'm not sure what else. You can decide, maybe?

Double the Pleasure, Double the Fun [26 May 2005|01:52am]

[ mood | chipper ]

Hey guys,

We're new to this group. Thought we'd post a story and share with you all what we've been up to.

Love it or hate it, we don't really give a fuck ;)

There's this boy.
He's a rather large boy.

We were coming back from Mambo's on a Thursday night. We met up with this boy at Clarke's on Belmont, after finding out that he was there with some friends. This boy had been lusting after one of us for a while, even though he had a boyfriend.

We met up with him and his friends and ate a late dinner/early morning snack. The boy kept giving one of us the googly eye, and we figured, sure, why not play this for what it's worth.

We offered him a ride back to his apartment. One of us had been there already for a late night rendevous. It wasn't anything special.

We went upstairs. He offered us something to drink. We declined.

No Fiji.

After a while, we decided to get this ball on a roll, because gosh knows, his bootleg porn wasn't very amusing.

We told him to pull out his goodies. He obliged very willingly. We told him to stroke it. He did.

He wanted to touch ours. We said no. Ladies don't do that sort of thing.

We were rubbing his titties and talking dirty to him.

He wanted it bad. He wanted to play with us. He had a short fat salami with some of the biggest cheese balls we have ever seen. WE seriously thought there were three in there.

He was ready to come when we were ready to go.

We walked out the door as he was ready to finish.

As we left his apartment building, we ran down the street fast, giggling like "Asian school girls...plaid skirt and all".

We drove home. We went to bed. He went back to his room alone.

I wonder what his boyfriend thinks?

Howdy, I'm new.  My name's Brad, I'm sixteen, I live in Ohio.  I was actually pretty surprised to find that a community like this exhisted since all the other LJ communities pertaining homosexuality are irritatingly flamboyant... It's unfortunate really...

So yeah, little bit about me.  My favorite bands/musicians are Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Beatles, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Incubus, 311, Tegan & Sara, Ivy, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, REM, Dashboard Confessional, Lindsey Buckingham, The Eagles and a lot of others that I'm too lazy to go on listing.  I love to read.  My favorite author is Isabel Allende.  My favorite books are "The House of the Spirits", "Go Ask Alice", "The Communist Manifesto", "Dracula" and "The Prince" among others.  I hate shopping, unless it pertains to me getting more books or music.  I love writing (stories mostly; I can't write poetry... it's hard and kind of boring).  I like anime and manga and all that stuff... and that's about it.

hi guys

I found this community in passing. Seems like it is right for my current mindset.
Finding myself less and less connected with (m)any gay guys anymore. Why is it that I am "supposed" to dance to Cher remixes instead of Radiohead? I just don't think so.

Current obsessions include the aforementioned radiohead, going to as many shows as possible and working as little as possible. :) Really looking to meet some other guys into the same stuff.

Say hi if you want.

[ mood | annoyed ]

i don't understand the fags that feel the need to proclaim their femininity to the world. like ""watch out bitches! this is one GIRLY faggot strutin' her shit up in here!"

that annoys me to no end. I mean, you're gay. congratulations. so am i, but you don't see me shouting it. straight men don't go around scraming "im so fucking masculine! and i love pussy!"

oh yes. my name is uriel. im new.

Even the word "Diva" makes me cringe... [02 Apr 2003|12:23am]

[ mood | amused ]

How about a party...

Where no female artists who recognized by one name (except for Missy, of course) will be played?
Where nobody will be allowed in if they show any sign of a rainbow.
Where the moment anyone mentions a "Pride Parade," they are escorted to the exit.
Where there will be no flashy lights. Nope, not even the strobe, folks.

Look, it's my party and I can cry if I want to.
But I don't cry, I do the Harlem Shake instead.

That's just me, though.

No, I don't like the Pet Shop Boys.

Go away (:

i want to have a gay party where music like george michael, pet shop boys, and kylie minogue are all banned.

heeeere's the dilemma, however...

there's no one to invite. anywhere.

i think the answer lies in california, i truly do.
